sadly, my best mate crashed his au2 xr8 rebel edition

the engine is still in perfect nick, but the whole side of the body is f**k , not worth fixing. i want to know what sort of money one would ask for the engine, and in everyones opinion is it worth us taking the time to dismantle this car and sell it for parts rather than getting a lump sum from wrecker? all electrics are still working, and ful leather interior in perfect condition. door trims all fine etc. hood is completely undamaged, as is boot and spoiler etc.

if your mate has the time to pull it apart he should sell it in peices i think you would make a fair bit with the leather and the v8

Depending on km's he could make around 2-3 grand on the motor, a grand for the gear box, 400 for the diff, etc , etc.

I'd like to take the inlet manifold though.

was it optioned with the tickford brakes upgrade?
