Hey, I have an 04 BA V8 Fairmont with the 220 Barra. Had a look over her today and noticed that the coolant looks a little dark and when I removed the throttle body to clean it, there was oil in the intake. My car hasn't been running great lately it doesn't idle well hence cleaning the t/b. Now that I've seen oil(small puddles) in the intake I'm getting worried. Any idea what is wrong and how much its going to set me back?

ive seen a pipe that runs into the side of the intake that has oil coming out im not sure if its there for that intention but its on a mate barra 220... so if that pipe has any thing leaking from it possibly it is the cause?

You could have a bad/blocked PCV valve.

After discussing it with others I've decided I'm going to replace the PCV, hopefully that willl fix it.
