in the shed playing with motor, and have never taken out a cam before.
how do you remove it? i have aken the keeper plate off, and it prob moves about 20mm by itself. Do i just have to yank at it to get it too come out, or is there a trick? this is what i have at the moment. (pic) cheers BEN

i have tried once and fluked it...
i used the handle off my angle grinder. I unscrewed it from the angle grinder and just my luck, it screwed in where the cam bolt normally goes and i slowly pulled it out that way. if you try it, who know's, you might get lucky too or you can take the same principle and fabricate your own way.

Cheers fellas, its out. Bit of jiggleing and it came, just wasnt sure how easy it came out, didnt wanna root anything.
