I had the exhaust shop change the rear hot dog for a quieter muffler as the noise wore me down and that's on a 6 in a AU. A loud ex sound sounds great at first. ghiaman Yeah but V8's are different. It is only loud out the back, it is fairly quiet in the cabin and doesn't drone like large exhausts tend to do on I6's. Agreed Ghiaman. The novelty of a deep and loud exhaust gets irritating after a while and then downright aggravating ( worse if it drones ).
I decided to make my exhaust quiet on this car as opposed to my previous ride and am enjoying it more - especially as it doesn't attract Police.
