ok so having trouble sorting out my 350 holley it just seems to be pumping fuel into the manifold when closed and flooding the engine, is that a needle and seat problem or is there something else that i should be looking at, this engine was sitting in an old ladys back yard for over 2 years

sounds like your needle and seat need replacing or the float level is to high..

Has it had a big back fire at some stage and blown the power valve out ??
Yes they tendto flood or over fuel or have massive lean spots if accellerator pump isn't set right...
Double check float bowl fuel height
