do i just do up the bolt to push it back on or whats the go. someone please help me, my pride and joy is in bits :(

Yep tap it back on then fit bolt making sure it has a few threads so it doesn't strip.. Then tighten her up !!!

but do the bolts up oppisite to each other , put them all in just nipped up then torque them up to spec in a criss crosspattern its not hard for your harmonic balancer to come loose and snap a few bolts off if you havent got the right touque.

There is no replacement for Displacment..

its only got 1 big bolt in the middle, well thats all i had to remove to get it off and i cant see where anymore bolts could go. i did forget to say its on a elxr8 or am i just missing something here :?

hey what is the torque measurement for the balancer on a ef xr8. sry to hijack thread... just need to know also...

i just asked a question. i have a work shop manual on order.. i just need these specs. preety well now ish... its a simple question... if u didnt want to answer it simply do not answer especially if it is not going to help in any way or kind...
believe me even if i did have a manual id probably still call some of the dudes i know from fordmods and ask for thier advice as this whole v8 thing is a learning curve for me...

damper to crankshaft bolt torque 110nm on ef/el V8

well the manual ive got says 122nm for ef-el xr8
