Actually you can stroke a 5.4.
Check it out....http://www.f150online.com/galleries/myg ... ?gnum=2624
Sean Hyland and the like do 6.0L stroker kits for them too.

personly i think your best off getting the large bore alloy block from the states and fitting all the boss gear to it. that'll get close to a 6L with out increasing the already LONG stroke.
get some good strong rods and pistons

KEC do a cnc head for it, find some cams that match the head flow or even have some made

see how far it gets you with a stock intake manifold. and if need be have a new one made to suit

Easier yes, Cheaper?...probably no.
The result would be better with the blower though.

You will need over 500hp in the engine to achieve those rear wheel kilowatts and it wont come cheap and you will have to invest in motec or something

I said the same thing when I went to SAS a few years back - he reply from Dave Alexander was hysterical laughter followed by "the only way you will get 300kw is to sell your ford and buy a holden"

It goes to show you - that now fords are being taken more seriously in the performance market.

And yes - I know I havent got to 300kw yet - but I am at lot closer to it, than I was when I went to SAS.

And yes - I know I would be even more closer to the magical 300 number if I didnt keep buying more cars... but I cant help it.

391rwhp is about 450-500hp at the flywheel and no motec in sight.
363rwkw(486rwhp) is what has been achieved with the blower fitted(with only 6psi) also no motec in sight....guess what that is at the fly?

hey ppl i just got a BA XR8 ute. i live in vitoria, where is a good performance place i can achieve this power, money isnt a factor, i dont want forced induction, NA V8 is the go 4 me, i heard blue power racing developments are the best out there for NA BAs, any other sugestions

go to somwhere like Nizpro of HPF, they can custom tune u an edit for the BA, with an edit and exhauast u should get around the 250rwkw mark.. there is a GT getting round tuned by HPF with about 260rwkw from an edit, exhaust and a 2nd cold air intake...
