Hey, I'm running an explorer manifold on an otherwise fairly stock EL 5 litre, and I'm wondering if I should just set the ignition timing to where it's supposed to be standard, or would there be any benefit from advancing or retarding it a few degrees? I'm geussing that advancing it a bit may give a little bit more power, but it may ping on unleaded, which doesn't bother me anyway because I don't use that crap.
