OK, I've always been a Holden man, was raised to worship Holdens and never strayed from Holdens. That was until I drove a neighbours DF LTD in which I saw the light and was converted and now that LTD sits in my driveway. I had to have it. Now my problem is, I have no idea what are the models that I can source performance gear from. I'm chasing stuff like supercharger, stage 2 kit etc but am I looking for NF only or can I look at AU etc gear?
Cheers in advance |

Engine wise the D/NF's are basically the same as EF/L V8. (Possibly Series 1 AU as well, but I'd get conformation on that 1st)

Its a 5 litre Windsor HO motor, essentially the same as 86-93 Mustang. AU's ran the Explorer engine. The AU had better heads, intake, tb and MAF, and a coil pack.
Swapping the AU inlet manifold, tb and MAF is a good start. You can do the heads too but there are better aftermarket alloy heads available. |
