Well i got it on the off chance it was
The electrics side is exactly the same - exept the plug, and the outta casing very similar numbers etc etc Just wondering if i could take the electrics off my old maf and put it on this one? |

yes i see the difference unbolt the sensor from your old maf then screw it onto the new maf

Yes it does but in this case it actually works quite well. You end up with a performance favourable lower load calculation and a slightly leaner mixture. It is worth checking your air/fuel on a dyno though and make sure you get no detonation as a result of the lower load calcs. Be sure your fuel and ignition systems are up to scratch. The sizes are; 55mm stock HO and the one you have is 70mm and it does look like an actual AU MAF in those pics. I also clicked on the one he calls "genuine EB-EL MAF".....the electronics shown in his picture are NOT genuine. Genuine ones actually have FORD moulded into the electronics housing. |
