Hey all I have a 04 V8 BA mont, when I was looking under the bonnet I heard a hissing sound, I found that what I think is a vacuum hose on the passenger side of the engine was loose so I pushed it back on, The hose was squashed flat I was wondering if this is normal. When the engine is off it goes back to normal. thanks for any help.

Sounds like its one of the Breather lines, that exact line split in our V8 Ghia, ended up having it replaced with what seems to be a much thicker hose.
