I have a slight water leak where the throttle body joins the EGR spacer. It drips from the bottom rear bolt. I have replaced the gasket twice (one I made and then genuine) but I cant semm to get it to stop. Any ideas?

Check that the metal hasnt corroded as they get brittle with age + heat and just snap off.

Blank the hoses off coming from the manifold and delete the coolant to the EGR.
They are only to stop freezing of the throttle body in the US market and it is not required over here. My one is blanked off on my Edelbrock manifold and there are no issues with it.

or use gasket sealant if you don't want to block the coolant off

Thanks for the responses. Have tried sealant as well but still no joy. Might just block off the hoses if its only a manifold heater.

They are for cooling the throttle body where the hot exhaust gas enters so they are certainly not for stopping it from freezing.

as raptor XR8 alluded too, the nipples on the EGR plate that the hoses push onto sometimes corrode and go to s**t, if it's not the hoses themselves.

Its definately leaking from the bolt area not the hoses or nipples.

Just delete the coolant lines to it as everyone has said.
Best off removing upper manifold and blocking EGR port in the centre too, so the hot exhaust gasses dont reach the throttle body.
