Hey guys,
I just wanted to confirm with any one else who has had there car lowered. Should the back be a bit higher than the front end, or should they sit even? I just had new shocks, springs, bushes, sway bar etc done at pedders, and the rear sits over an inch higher than the front. Should they be even or is it normal to have rear a bit higher? Cheers |

Well my car sits level. Usually the a** end does sit a bit higher, but by how much I am unsure. If it wasn't for a sound system then my car wouldn't be level that's for sure.
I think some people have super lows in the rear with lows in the front to level out the car if they don't have anything heavy in the boot...such as sound system or gas tank. phong =P~

Have the same problem in my Fairmont. When i got the car a couple of months ago, found out it had a full Pedders setup, spring, shocks, sway bar and nolathane bushes etc. Height at the front was spot on, guard sitting just above the tyre, even had the guards rolled in which was good, but the rear is about 35mm higher than the front which looks a bit out of place i reckon. Gunna get a set of dobi superlows fitted in the rear to even it out so we'll see how it goes.
Did you ever get your ride height sorted out Alex_01? |

I got a full setup from pedders done to my ef Fairmont yes the back end is meant to sit slightly higher than the front end. This is so that if you load up the boot and 3 passengers in the car it will even out. however if it wasn't slightly higher can u imagine where your back end would sit or what it would like?
