Hey all
i want to do a manual conversion to my NL but my problem is that the EL manual conversions are few and far between

This idea might be dumb but can i use an eb - el kit to make things easier

as far as i know the yokes are different? but since id have to get my tailshaft custom'd would it really matter if u use an eb yoke and the nl one on the diff?

if i missed somethin dont be shy to slap me and set me straight

cheers

Mate, your yoke & shaft will work, a pedal from XC through EL and a Mal Wood pin kit will make it easy. Dont forget to get the spring that holds the clutch pedal back toward the floor either.

i put an au box into my eb sedan and it was very straight forward . i had to have the tail shaft shortened and they couldnt do that to the alloy one apparently so had to get a steel shaft and then shorten that same ecu no worries there worst part is replacing the pedal box. all in all well worth the effort heaps more fun toi drive.

assuming the box is in good condition 1500 is a steal. Fordpro wants $2500 for a convo with no ecu.. if it were me id jump on it...

I am getting a T5 next month through Mal Wood. That is at $4100. If you guys can find it any cheaper than that then you're laughing. Of course, at that price you get everything. Inc. Oil
