Looked on their website the other day and spotted that they have an electric wsterpump with free spinning pulley for both short and long timming covers. What do you guys think and what timming covers do EF windsors have.

The Australian timing case covers are 94-95 Mustang ones and all of the aftermarket waterpumps (including the electric ones) are pre 93 waterpumps. Sorry to spoil your fun but to run one of these you will need to change timing case cover and pulley sets to the 93 mustang setup.

Similar to the advantages of thermo fans, electric water pumps reduces the drag on the engine, apparently good for 5-10rwkw. I have used the davies craig electric water pumps on my ED and although it seemed to get decent results, it wasn't reliabe. If thermo fans fail its no big deal, you will get a fair warning and you may not even overheat, but if the water pump goes, you can very quickly destroy an engine.

But if you have a look on the website under ford smallblock section there is some for 94/95 front covers. Part number is WP374
