Soemtimes it works out cheaper buying and AU motor and stealing the bits from it. You can pick them up from 1-2K. This will get you heads/cam and intake, which can cost that much if sourced by them selves.

slightly negative lol. exhaust + headers, 1.7 rockers, underdrives and as was mentioned a diff gear change are all (relatively) cheap mods...the e7 heads suck though, shoulda got the gt40s for $500!!!

yea spewin i didnt get them gt40 heads when i had the chance
but i have had some people tell me to go for factory gt headers and some have said go aftermarket extractors but arent the original gt headers restricted to much compared to aftermarket extractors as i cant see the gt headers being much difference to my original 1's what do you guys reckon as my opinion is to go aftermarket extractors whats your thoughts? also what price are you guys paying for a 3 inch exhaust? as my guy told me he can do 3 inch tailpipe which is basically from the diff fitted for $230 and then maybe another $50 from there up to the headers or extractors depending on what i get does this sound ok sounds pretty good to me but once again whats your thoughts ? cheers Drifty
