hi all,i have an eb xr8 manual,it has cam,chip,pacemakers,3'' exhaust,10mm leads, huge intake over the top of the radiatior,k&n,55mm maf and made 227rwhp.I just fitted au maf with my electrics and has alot more mid to top end power.
Im wanting 270rwhp or around there somewhere, more is is better though.Would a set of gt40 or alloys with descent intake get it up close to those figures.....also will a early model windsor gear drive fit in the late model timing cover

Any help with this would be awsome these late model windsors are a new thing to me use to ones with carbs, cheers phill

A set of alloy heads will get you there.

I made around the 270rwhp mark with AFR alloy heads, cobra intake, reasonable cam and roller rockers.

Gt40p's can do the job as well. A set of roller rockers (either 1.6/1.7) with a reasonable cam -2030, 2031, E303 would make great mid to top end power.

Im not sure with the gear drive, but im positive it can be done, i know a bloke who has geardrives in his EF, not sure if its early/late model type.

Probably a upgrade to 24lb injectors and a tune to suit would help as well
