As we all know its not so much the figure but the way it performs and having never had anything to do with C V Performance before I took the chance and had them custom tune the beast and what a transformation.
he said it has a fuel supply issue which can be seen in the AF ratio readings but when I replace the pump and injectors he will be able to get more power with more stable AF ratios. the bumometer sorta felt a little better but it always did throw you back so the most noticeable thing now is the rapid rate it increases speed when you put your foot down to go around something. I took my 22 yr old son out in it last night and he couldnt believe how much harder it goes on the street the figures really dont do the performance justice it hammers. I would recommend these guys 100% it was worth the 2 and a half hour drive to Tarren Point they were cheaper than some others too. STOKED !

Too right pursuit250 , Nothing like a windsor and it develops its power lower than the boss motors. I jus cant get over the transformation. Like I said the power figure may not be as good as some buts its street performance and acceleration s awesome. |

Great result! Looking at the AFRs I'd be getting an upgraded pump in as soon as possible, there is more power there to be had.

I always thought the stroked Windsors in the T3's weren't that far off that power figure stock.
They're definately a good motor to have! |

any other mods? The blue are the old figures and the red is new. has had exhaust, cold air K&N adj roller rockers and new valve springs. The adj rockers and the springs are not really any advantage its just that the originals kept breaking so I put 15lb heavier crow replacements in it and being anal thought I might as well replace the rockers as well so put adj's in. Only other mods are I had Mal Wood change some ratio's for highway driving. You will note on the AF ratio that it gets to a point and then turns up leaning off. When I get a new pump fitted later he says a retune should get a better result. so after all that raving garbage pretty much as stock as most. no head work or cam changes or that. |

hovering around 12.7 should be ideal for power, unless im mistaken |

He said ideally he would have liked it to be more flat and consistant but the pump was about at the end of its tether. Either way I'm not too concerned its driving really well and I will some time over the next 12 mnths put the new gear in and have it retuned but for now its simply great had it since new and if I knew it would make this much difference to the on the street experience I would have bit the bullet a long time ago. i previously ran a powerchip but there is no comparison.

They're definately a good motor to have! IIRC 250kw and 500nw at the engine, I think the 230kw graph is from the tyres.

Stock I'd agree, there's A LOT of torque reduction in the ECU in lower revs. Get a custom tune, and the BOSSes have plenty enough low down grunt that 1st gear should be renamed Smoke Show (even with traction control).

But some mates of mine have run a good 10-20rwkw higher in their T3's, than BA XR8's. The T3's have all been around 220rwkw stock. |
