with the current on-going petrol blues, i am looking to say bye bye (with tears ) to my blue baby. Sad to say , I have one of those rare factory kitted blue EL XR8 (1997 model) and want to sell it to someone who can continue the passion. Priced just to finish off the loan. If you are interested, PM me.

Mods done:
17" AU II chrome wheels with an EL offsett. (see my gallery).
chrome door knobs.
Trip computer.

get an LPG conversion rather. you won't get the value of the car back, and who wants to drive a peice of s**t 4 banger? The V8 on LPG should do about the same kilometers to your buck as the 4 banger i would of thought.

Thats not a bad price at all!
Were you just in a hurry to get rid of it, or just want to get rid of the finance on it?
Sorry, is it Auto or Manual, and what sort of condition is it in?
Does it need much for a RWC?

Thanks Dave

Mate that is an absolute bargain! I think you could get a bit more than that for it.

don't drive with youre foot to the floor & drive her smoothly & she shoudnt drink anymore then a I6 as I drive the I6 EF hard & it drinks almost as much as the V8 giving it a beating although the intake helps the fuel burn quicker in the I6 SS induction on the EF so if you are thinking of droppping back well the only way to save $$$ is either a 4banger or GAS the 5.0L & make the MRS apreciate your car as much as you do as V8's do hold their value.

I'm averaging to 13.8L/100km (city driving) I dont think I'm that heavy footed driver. :P I am angling to get myself one of those 8L/100km car.

I supose if driving though stop start traffic then yes I agree 13.8 for city driving but I drive 36km to work mainly motorway but still have to contend with a few busy main roads but I can average from 8-13l per 100km city driving if I tread lightly but if stuck in heavy stop start traffic I have sucked a 1/4 of a tank in 10km.
