Ever since the mighty Clevo got phased out in 1983 I've been wondering what blocks the US NASCAR teams use. Do they use Windsor, or Dart blocks. What makes me think about the Dart block is I heard that its available in both windsor and cleveland deck heights and some variants can accept clevo running gear. Could this be what the big boys use?

Thanks. I always thought so since I've heard rumors that the factory blocks cant handle more than 500hp without core shift problems and even the odd split block.

That is true, they do split at levels over 500bhp, depending on tune, and whether the car is blown or NA.
With those DART blocks, which block would you use for a 429 Stroker? Is there a typo on the site regarding the deck heights of the 351W and 351C, are they around the wrong way? |
