there have been so many threads covering this topic. some would say do a search...

to answer you q about upgrading the injectors for your current 5L... there's plenty of other avenues you could attend to before you hit the injectors.

-intake manifold (AU/Explorer, Trickflow, custom)
-heads (gt40p's, AFRs, Trickflow)

maybe even look into "forced induction"

thanks for your reply....but as posted will be getting a stroker motor down the track in the year so no need for heads etc....just after injector's for that engine...but also my current one's are shot so need a set to tie me over.
also was after brand's to buy/avoid & average price to suit both.

I'd say a set of 24lb should do it but 30's would be better.

A set of 2nd had 24lb injectors off an AU V8 can be had for $150.

30lb would be better, giving room to breathe as well if you did decide to replace the heads and chase some power.

Bosch (ford motorsport) injectors would be the go, 24 lb bluetops, red tops are 30.

If you are buying new ones try here.

At $70 + gst, they arent too dear..

a few weeks ago i bought some for a friend from the US. $390 for a set of 8, landed and they were Genuine Ford Racing high flowed injectors @ 30lbs/h.

A stroker with stock heads would be like driving a diesel.

Lots of pull up to about 3500rpm.

maybe i should have said from the first post....that it will not be the engine in the car now that will be stroked....but a complete brand new engine.
thats why i was asking about two set's of injector's, one for the current engine & one for the new motor.
sorry if people got the wrong idea.
thanks for your opinion
