Not clevelands. Now pardon my ignorance pete, but apart from the fact that you are keeping wheezer nastiness out of your clevo, what would benefits be with this over a dart/world block?

As the website says, "Clevelands forever" that's why! Personally I don't see an advantage other than the cool factor.

There ya go Jared. That's your answer. I wonder how much cheaper it would be compared to the ultra rare Fontana alloy blocks. Then again I wonder how much cheaper it would be compared to a Dart alloy block. |

"As it sits in the pics, it weighs 130lbs. When the risers are gone, the waterjackets are added, and all of the machine stock is removed I'll bet the thing will weigh 85-90 lbs. Add in sleeves and main caps and you will be back up to 105-110 tops. The OEM caps and bolts weigh 15 lbs. Yeah, 100-110 lbs. "
and thats when 110 lbs is about 50kg.

I was looking at a few imported racing engine parts about 2 years ago and come across an alloy clevo block, but could only be used as a dry sump setup, it had a 9.2 deck height, but the bores were siamese and 4.180'' and could be safely bored out to 4.250, only thing was the price he was asking...
$8,000, and for $12,000 with a set of yates heads ported to 340cfm
