I have thought about it when I've gone past his street a few times.

Yeah yeah,

I'm still here just haven't done jack all to the car in the last few months.
One of the main reasons being I lost my nice cushy job due to the meltdown.
Luckily the first job I applied for I got but it's longer hours and a bit less pay.
Also while interest rates are down I'm making extra payments on the mortgage to knock the principle amount down a bit..
So cash is the main hold up at the moment. I've also decided to not worry about LPG as the cost and hassle of getting the system I want doesn't seem worth it at the moment.
But that leaves me with the problem of where to put injectors as theres no room for them in the traditional place.
My other option is similar to throttle body injection and have some mega large injectors fire directly into the inlet of the charger :?:
So I'll have to see what I come up with, but I hope to get back into it in the not too distant future..

Hi, I was just searching through forums and i came across your 347 project. It looks fantastic and the work that you are doing is very professional, congratulations on what you've done so far. I don't want to be a pain but i built a natural aspirated el stroker 347 with a reground cam from wade and a set of ported gtp heads and a ported au xr8 manifold and 65mm throttle body. I ended up with 198 kw's at the rear wheels but an absoulte bucket load of torque, it was a real street animal, fried the tyres at every punch of the throttle, fun and great car to drive, BUT ONE MAJOR PROBLEM !!! A bad batch of fuel or the slighest amount of detonation and bang you crack the ring lands on one or more of your cast pistons!!!!! I love 347 strokers they are an awsome street motor but anything over 450hp at flywheel with a standard block and yes you will split the block!!!
I'm currently building a 347 stroker twin turbo to go into a 1963 Lincoln..

At WOT, my AF:R is tuned to run a bit richer from 3,500 rpm onwards, to counter the possibility of a bad batch of fuel.
