ANybody on here know how to rebuild the solenoids for a Dry NOS kit. I seem to have a leak from the solenoids, and as such its driving me nuts. Need to know how to rebuild them so the leak stops and i can stop wasting NOS. 120 a fill is tarting to hurt when its empty by the time i get to WSID
As is posted later, the leak led to a small NOS explosion, which will require the inlet manifold to come off this weekend to help cure a totally untracable air lear. I have a feeling it either blew one of the hoses off, or has separated the upper and lower of the HO manifold, or at worst blown a head gasket. Needless to say it wont idle but pulls strongly when given throttle. Could also be the EGR, as the suction noise seems to be from the front of the manifold.

Stop the presses, problem no 1 solved. There is a outlet on the bottom at the rear of the HO manifold that had a plastic cap on it, this blew off when the NOS explosion occurred. That has been cured, but i still have a leaky solenoid, so no more NOS til that has been fixed

Yes the tap is off, but when it is turned on their is a leak. I know this as after turning the vehicle off for say five mins, then restarting it the revs spike as a result of the NOS leak. Just need to know how do you rebuild/ recondition the solenoids

Well i should have fixed that NOS leak, cause as a result tonight at WSID i parked up, got a feed and when i came back and started her, BOOM, and a ton of smoke. No real damage, but some sort of air leak. As can be seen by my new sig, have finally cracked 100mph, woohoo

Solenoids will be rebuilt this weekend, and will sort out the Air Leak that is causing the erratic idle. On further examination this morning, it appears that one of the myriad of hoses that attached to the HO manifold has blown off, will need to pull the manifold so as to be able to locate said hose.
