Have developed a sudden oil leak from the rear of sump - it appears to be coming from the pan lip
in front of the bell housing cover plate. I assume if rear main was leaking it would show oil coming from inside of the cover (flex plate side). In last rebuild I used rubber one piece sump gasket as in the AU's.
Any ideas on how to lower sump enough to get some grey RTV in there without pulling the engine out? I have access to a hoist.
