Anyone know where I can put into the V8 block an oil temp sensor?
And anyone know what sort of temp the oil gets to? Will probably put the guage in below the radio, in that recess.

Good idea Frank, I'll try and find a 'T' piece and fit it up.

Oil pressure sender is an electrical device of the fron of the motor. Its a b**ch to remove without the right sized deep socket and putting a T piece into it would just make it worse. I have no idea how you would get this to work, bt if you do, would be very interested as i want to monitor my iol temp as well

so you're suggesting that he buy a new sump plug, drill and tap a hole into it for the temp sender, and replace his original sump plug with it? it'd work, but i'd be worried about ripping the bloody thing off!
