Hi,
I've got a standard 92 Eb v8 motor and t5, just wondering if early model parts fit the Eb roller motor.
1978 351 Windsor heads 69cc chambers, Stainless 1.9 int 1.6 exh valves, 1.6 ratio Yella Terra roller rockers screw in studs. They've had a lot of work done porting and polishing looks professional done.
I know about different bolt size.
Trw L2249N forged dome top Pistons. Think the standard Eb pistons weigh 1.3lbs and the dome tops are 1.6lbs. Think compression around 10 with the 69cc heads.
1968 conrods with Arp rod bolts and speed pro bearings.
Will all this work in the Eb Efi v8 or would it be better in a early carbed motor?
If all good would it be best with Explorer manifold 70mm throttle body and Maf, 24lb injectors and tune on a chip?
What sort of power would it make and what cam would be best it's a weekend street car.
Appreciate any help or advice Thanks Tony.

Yes it will work. You'll need step washers from ARP to use the 7/16" head bolts. Late blocks don't like being upped to 1/2".
How much power is a how long is a piece of string question?
Without flow figures and cam specs it's an unknown.
You're not going to get the power of an aftermarket headed combo so that's the first thing to note.
If you went for something like a Comp XE270HR you're prob in the 250hp at the tyres range.

Hey thanks very much for your reply, found specs on the Pistons .440" solid dome .912" pin 1.600 comp height 8.5cc dome volume, I got 9.7.1 comp is this right? And is it good. Been talking to some guys and they don't like the 351 heads 69cc reckon standard gt40s are better? Could I swap my stainless 1.9 1.6 valves roller rockers over to some bare aftermarket heads could you suggest good ones for the dome tops or standard Pistons? Thanks for the help Tony.

No worries Tone.
a '78 D80E 351 head is really just a 302 head with 1/2" head bolt holes. Certainly not as good a starting point as a '69-70 351 head but certainly better when ported and big valves. 40P heads are good but have other problems.
I suggest you shelve those heads and just buy a complete set of AFR 165 Renegade heads and maybe order with the larger chambers to suit domed pistons. The roller rockers will work if you get the stud type heads(I assume your 351 heads were machined fir screw in studs?) but often people use Chev valves when doing Windsor heads and these are shorter and not appropriate for anything else.

Looks like they don't do the 165 in large chamber anymore...

You could go to the 185 with a 72cc chamber but I think you'll get better area under the curve with the 165 so I'd go with flat top pistons.
