after my GT40P mod I need 2 leads with 90 degree plug boots on them, I bodged up a couple from an old set of leads for now, made 2 out of 4 by using the dizzy cap bots and recrimping the dizzy cap connector for hte plug end, but can some one tell me what this means, Wire Set, SC, 8 Cyl 90 Plug/90 , these are a set of universal leads at vpw.com.au, are they what I'm after.

I assume you are talking about the MSD wires, SC = Super Conductor which is their high end 8.5mm range with 90 degree distributor and 90 degree plug ends. They come with the dizzy end already on but the other end is just bare so you can cut to length. You want the MSD-31229 which is for HEI dizzy's with 90deg ends.
