Hey mate,

I just use BTR auto trans fluid.... but i believe DexronIII is also appropriate for the C111 p/s pump.

I know a lot of people run the trans fluid without problems but IMO its not the best. There is a specific Falcon PS fluid available from Valvoline (I think), its available from Supercheap (it has a pic of an EL on the front and specifies for late model falcons). I have used that on a few Falcons with very noisy PS systems and it makes them run very quiet.

i looked for that stuff you mentioned at supercheap and couldnt find exactly what you discribed. there was a similar product with an AU on the front and it specifies for EL's and AU. will that still be suitable?

Yeah thats it, its now an AU on the front (use to be an EL), Its called Valvoline Formula F. I use that in my ED and its very good IMO.

Yeah it says late model fords on there but the PS systems from EA-AU are all basically the same. I used it on an old EA we had with terible sounding PS and it quietened it up very nicely.
