I just recieved a 70mm ProM MAF from Mr Landau (Shane)on Wednesday and have been driving around to let the ECU relearn.
What a difference compared to the C&L that was on there.Part throttle drivability has improved dramatically. Not to mention increase in both torque and power right through the entire rev range.
So if you are considering a MAF then give Mr Landau(Shane) a PM and he will sort you out with EXACTLY what you need. :D

By the way, I now have a C&L 73mm MAF for sale if anyone is interested now after my rave about the ProM.

Shane obviously the man to ask but I understand the Pro-Ms are tuned from the bottom up to suit the injector curve for a given engine.

The C&L MAFs use different sized sampling tubes to suit the injector size being used.

Im using a C&L as this is what CAPA provide in the kit... no complaints with driveability but then again... ignorance is bliss (that, and my EEC has been tuned to suit this combo).

Also have a few sampling tubes here... 24, 36 and god knows what else....

EDIT: OK, make that 2x 30lb tubes and 1x 36/38lb tube....

The C & L meter still uses the factory Ford injector curve - whereas the Pro-M electronics can play with these figures to get more punch at different stages. Applications like dry N20 kits and boosted cars have different fuel needs than the standard naturally asperated motors. Matts car also suffered the fate of using a cobra style computer which needed a cobra specific meter. The Electronics from the standard Falcon were all wrong.

I have just installed my gear and it is awesome. There is a lot more noticeable torque throughout the rev range and it is a lot smoother when accelerating. Only driven 20kms or so with it and you can just feel it. Can't wait till I get the fuel pressure done correctly on the dyno and the ECU relearns.
