yeah, a high flo pod is most likly not the best option, but change back to a airbox and but a BMC Panel filter in it and a ticky snorkel and you should be doing fine, i found that when running a pod for a little while too.

Oil filters have a habit of doing that, you should be using a paper filter with a MAF.

thats why you pull it out, spray the cleaner stuff over it and put it under the tap for a while and get all the oil out, let it dry, then you do a quick spray of oil on it.

It'll still stuff the MAF. When the engine is turned off the MAF heats the sensor wire to 1000 degrees or there abouts, carbonising any oil on the wire instantly.

Pod filters are fine with MAF metered vehicles.... just position an air pump between the filter and the maf

Quality panel filters in standard boxes work the best, IMO. i have seen 350rwkw with a standard commodore size filter. i have also seen a 14" x 5" round foam filter loose 5 rwhp over a standard paper filter.
