is it just a case of draining system, remove thermos and all hoses and unbolt it? and when i refill it do i just wait for the overflow bottle to drain into radiator and fill it again and do i gotta bleed the air out of the system like on my xf? thanks heaps every1

Thermos can stay on if you like. Just need to be unplugged.

Cooling system is pretty much self bleeding. Just make sure you have the heater turned on when you run it & you will probably need to top it up again once the thermo stat opens up after running it for a bit.

There is that plug where the heater lines come out of the manifold toward the front on top. I dont think it required to be bleed there, but I always do it just for piece of mind. You can take the plug right out when you are first filling it, and then just loosen it off a little to bleed once it has warmed up (be carefull it dont come right out though, unless you like that burning feeling).

Where did you get those polished door sill scuff plates :?:

thanks heaps for that, got the scuff plates on ebay cant remember the blokes name but if you go in the car parts section and search for (entrance sills) you should be able to find them

is there any other hoses apart from the big fat top and botom radiator hoses and the two going to the overflow bottle?

Besides the two massive ones, there's two small ones (1 to the top hose & 1 to the radiator from the filler bottle), & one bigger one that goes from the bottom of the filler bottle to the side of the radiator. & of course the trans cooler line (if it auto).

Did your come with the ford logo on or did you get the stickers yourself ?

the ford logo is printed on somehow, they dont make them with the logo anymore cos of copyright laws. thanks heaps for the help
