The time has come to stroke the 5.0L into a 347.
My current set up is:
Edlebrock RPM #60259 heads 2.02 intake valves 170cc intake runners 60cc chambers ( no EGR cross over) -
CR is around 10.5:1
Crane Gold Race Series 1.7 RR #36757.
Crane 2031 cam #444225.
Comp Springs #978.
Edelbrock Performer 5.0 Intake.
Exhaust is Pacemaker PH4000 extractors into twin 2 1/2" runing down each side & exiting as 3" over the diff.
24lb injectors/ 255lph fuel pump/ Kirban adj Fuel Reg/ 70mm BBK TB/ 75mm ProM MAF/ MSD dizzy & MSD digital-6 ignition with BlasterII coil.
Together with 3.7 diff / morestall convertor / underspeed pullies/ Thermo fans.
EECIV with TweecerRT.
Auto gear box has just been beefed up.
How will above bits go with the stroker?
Thinking of SCAT forged kit.
Any pros & cons changing from dizzy to coil packs? Can EECIV handle this?

Richie.

That stuff will do fine Richie,
Although there may be a benefit to changing intake to an RPM-II intake.
Scat is good stuff.
EECIV can handle Direct Ignition via an EDIS-8 module and EEC reprogramming via tweecer but you will not notice anything because you already have a Digital-6.

That combo sounds awesome, spot-on, but i have to agree with XR9UTE here and say you could go for different inlet manifold other than the Performer 5.0, something like, as he stated, the Performer RPMII.
This will give you that slight gain in the upper RPM's and being s stroker i wouldnt be concerned about sacrificing that little bit of low-down torque by goin to the shorter runners, she'll making enough torque as it is with the extra cubes.
