Hi guys is it a big job to run the efi intakes backwards to run a intercooler a tad easier on a centrifugal supercharger. Its a 302w on a el xr8. Also can anyone reccomend a good cam to suit the supercharger.

As in the Manifold? the manifold will bolt on either way, but its going to be rerouting all the wiring and throttle cable that will take the time and patience to get correct.

You will also need USA fuel rails

FPR location prevents the upper from attaching if aussie rails are retained when the upper is flipped. USA rails carry the FPR on the opposite side for this reason. Note that only some USA 5.0 uppers mount the TB on RHS so you would need to be careful what the source vehicle is. Mustangs are mounted RHS and plentiful so go with that.

Ah well, I would have got a '94-'95 mustang kit, optioned a straight volute(discharge) and heave ho'd the battery into the boot. Then run an intercooler out front, leaving the stock intake setup as it is.

Depends what MAF you use. If you stay draw through you can leave it on the left side.
You might also have heater pipe clearance problems. If you use a Fox body 5.0 engine harness it will plug right in and put your ISC,TPS etc on the left hand side. |

Will a fox body loom be a strait swap

{USERNAME} wrote: Will a fox body loom be a strait swap Yep, Get one from a 5.0 HO LX or GT and it'll plug straight in. There'll be an extra temp sender wire that you won't use but otherwise it's right. You may be able to get a new one from Ford racing as I think they've started supplying them again although I can only see the street rod harness online which is one piece(main and engine in one). New is obviously a much better idea when it comes to Harnii. |

I had no issues with both Cobra and TFS track heat.. TFS street heat didn't work with E or A series rails, nor did standard HO 5.0. Perhaps track heat is higher in the critical area or are you running a phenolic spacer? Interesting you got standard Aussie rails to work with TFS track heat lower which I understand is the same as street heat lower. I tried but gave up after grinding away so much alloy that I hit the mounting hole. This was after bending the front cross-over. The rail still didn't fit the lower but was close enough to fit the upper. This was when I found it fouled the FPR.
