magnenets are ace for picking up metal just a thought. as soon as you've tapped the hole get the strongest magnent you can in there should take care of anything worth worrying about.

on the subject I thought you could get magnitised sump plugs haven't seen one though. would love to get one of them and one of those oil filter magnents.

yeah u can get magnet sump plugs. gen 3's have them. they have a bit of iron filings on them at a 10k service so the must do something.

they also come factory fitted with piston slap and have a tendency to consume there own lubrication
