I made a thread about this back in the old forum, and I've posted it up in other peoples threads when they've asked about it, but here's it's own dedicated thread.

THe company that makes the shackers for the BA V8's (and maybe others) is at:

They look bloody awsome, I've got a poster up in my bedroom of a GT and Pursuit ute side by side with them on. One of the issues of Performance Ford Magazine goes into detail with pictures on how to install/fit them.
They actually work as an air intake, and I would think they'd make an improvement, maybe not on the dyno, but when your car is actually traveling as the air is getting caught into the shaker and sent down the piping if you get what I mean!?!

yeah, but back when i postedthis the site was behaving queer (from just coming alive again i guess) and the edit button wasn't there.
