What does it mean if my car is idling, and from the drivers side the two middle leads rite next to the sparks plugs are sparking and the sparks hit the heads.. if that naked sense

Your leads are stuffed and need to be replaced.

Mine did the same things, on brand new bosch leads no less. I would definitely replace them, I used Top Gun leads and have had no troubles with them at all.

I love the genuine Ford Bougicord leads...I'm using them on my ute and haven't had any problems. I have a spare set that I want to sell if anyone is interested in buying them.

Take the metal shrouds off the ends of the leads and you'll be fine.

Yep mine were Bosch 8mm too, pretty much brand new. Not really sure what the go is there, but its pretty worrying when you open you bonnet at night! I thought Bosch were good leads too! I have their motorsport ones now on my EF , and I haven't noticed any arcing yet

Yep, They are for the AU 5.0 with coil packs. The leads are 8mm and are in great condition.

Not on the plugs, on the end of the leads. Factory ones have them on the end of the leads. they tend to stuff up a bit. The lack of metal shrounds could unfortunately, be the cause of failure of your new leads.

OK, I wouldn't get MSD leads or coil packs but when talking about U.S. parts, whatever you get should be for a 5.0 Explorer.
