i hav an efII xr8 and was wondering if its possible to remove the speed limiter and rev limiter and how.

did the series 1 have the limiters as well...

As far as i know al falcons,whether it be gli-xr8-fairlane, all has a limiter.

180KM/H is what it is set at.

LPG conversion also wipes limiters out.

ok this is interesting... i can do about 255/260, how do i c if its chipped

either is a police ecu or has the chip or LPG.

EFII XR8 had no speed limiter. I've had mine in the 220km/h+ region plenty of times.

As for the rev limiter, why would you want to rev it past 6200 rpm limiter anyway, unless you have done s**t loads of work to your engine in which case you would most probably have to go an aftermarket ECU.

I would guess he is pulling about 350rwhp with the setup when he was doing that.

I too have had my car well off the 200km/h speedo a few times, but mine is piggybacked.

i never had a chance to get her dynoed but it was a power house and will b again soon... mmm soon

im guessing prob 300rwkw was prolly a fair guess. she has had a few kays on her. a rebuild and a stroke mite put me up around the 350 370 mark i think.

i wanna get 400 rwkws now. after hearing pyraos story lol

lol atm moment i think ill b lucky to get 180 rwkw with out the car setup. damn regency park.
