I have a stock 302 windsor in my ed falcon but am looking to work it a little. I am goin to fit some extractors but im wondering what would be the best way to go with the engine. i was thinking roller rockers crow cam and port job for the heads and some manifold work. Ill have about $3000 to spend on it

Raptor supercharger best bang for buck. More than $3000 but for price vs performance, you'll be disappointed with ported stock heads and intake with a mild cam.

gt40 heads and intake-$1000, injector's-$350,j3/ eec4 tuner's chip/tune-$500 ish, roller rockers-$350. Get 1.72's and keep stock cam. $800 for other bits and pieces. But there will be some other extra costs (t/b) which may tip it just over $3000, but you should be good for 210 rwkw

Would that seriously make 210rwkw with a 70mm MAF?

What about the above mods inc a cam change what sort of power can you get from these things?

Sorry for asking questions in your thread ED94V8 :P

This is pretty much EB GT/ ED Sprint spec and 200 kw at engine is to be expected.
Still better than standard 5.0 Litre
I would up on the cam.. but not too much.. just do as above to get it ready for a little boost.
Clean up the GT40 P heads with a mild port job. try to match port the inlet. You'll pick up a little there.
Don't forget GT40P extractors are different

yes my combo uses basic parts but the major gain above GT's is the tune, where major gain's in power can be made. I had a set of gt40's i sold dirt cheap couple weeks ago.

I cant see it making 210rwkw with GT40p heads and stock cam.

If $3000 is your absolute max budget you want to throw at it then i wouldnt bother. You'll be dissapointed.

But if its just $3k for now, then another $5k down the track etc.
I'd spend the $3k on a full proper exhaust and some underdrives.

if not 210 it won't be far off. Tickle the port's and you'll be close. As for 3000 spent at summit- this will still need 300+ for machining, assembly cost, and upgrading fuel system, ecu, exhaust...etc
