I am wondering the same thing, unless it has an aftermarket adjustable fuel pressure reg.

What air fuel ratio was it runing at WOT? Generally lean running is caused by dirty/stuffed MAF sensor, bad injectors or fuel system, bad O2 sensors or intake leaks.

Do you run it on 98?

My EL V8 pings on anything less than 98 Octane.

get an MAF from a Mustang or EL GT, they are bigger and more easily tuned.

My mate did this and worked a treat.

Had same thing a while back and for me was only the one O2 sensor. Replaced both and all is good.
