6psi is the recomended max out put because they are a sealed unit. No oil feed lines to worry about. Depends what it sells for as anything over $2000 and it might be worth gettin new.
Capa do kits for the ls1 for $3995 atm on special but the unit sells for 3190 buy it self.

The 4.6 stang motor is the same "modular engine" as the BA V8 engine.
I suspect it could be used by you'd have to look at changing all the piping/manifolds to suit your windsor

A 4.6 is a modular engine. A 5.0L windsor is not. So it will not fit your engine.
Save your money and get a Vortech, Paxton or Procharger kit. Powerdynes are not as good unless your get the new geardriven version known as the XB-1A. Pete. |

Would this kit be able to bolt on to a later model explorer? The ones with the 4.6 V8? Was just thinking of a potential project car.

Anything is possible with some thought, patience and some fabricating skills...
With some mild steel, grinder, welder and BIG hammer & time....
