Hey
Does anyone know if the tailshaft out of an BA XR8 ute AUTO is the same as a manual's one?????
Or if the sedan one will fit???
Cos im not sure but i think the utes are a longer wheel base but im not sure

Ba ute tailshafts are a one of a kind .From memory man a auto have different shafts.

diff body shapes have diff length shafts n diff tranny will usually have different shaft.

I dont know about the trannie part cos i just swapped my auto for a manual in my ED and i used the same shaft that was in the auto in the manual but anyway does anyone else have any clue???

ive never done a manual convo in a ba, but xf, e series and au's are all the same auto to manual.. unless the gearboxes are different lengths in the ba's you shouldnt have a problem.



ive done convos in xf's, ea-d, ef-l and an au. we resused the tailshaft in all of the above.
