hey boys

i posted a thread in the wtb section..

i got a au fairlane 5ltr on LPG and all i want is a really nice tone when i launch it.. i dont want it exessivly loud, just loud i need it to be..

i was thinking extractors and hi flow cat, but then again im a noob to exaust systems..

could i plz have links, prices, general info..

many thanks

(btw whats the difference b/w extractors and headers?)

Get a 2 1/2" pipeall the way through. Maybe remove the resonator and cut out one of the mufflers. Should give you a nice sound with the V8. try stainless stell dual 3"inch tips as well . . .they look choice!

If you can afford to, get a twin pipe system, they sound so much nicer i think than single.
Twin 2.25" would be fine and with stock cats a set of extractors n 2 mufflers will see a performance upgrade with a really good note. Also shouldnt drone or be heared uneless windows are down or you boot it.
This is what my car came with, replaced it all as my stock one died n it sounds fantastic!

yeh Daniel thats sounds good

but as u know, i will most likey get my dads 2002 ltd in about 12-14 months, so would that be a stright bolt on bolt off bolt on to the au2?

wat ever mods i do, they gotta be easily taken of for the 02 ltd
