I have an electrical question and I posted it here because I just realised there is no Electrical category.

Can the thermo fans on the EL be test fired just to see that they work? Can someone explain how this might be done?

Yes you can test them, they just need connecting up to a battery.

Hrrrm, i think there may be a part of the diagnostic test for the fans...

But i usually just start the car and turn a/c on high.... have a look-see at the fans and they should both be spinning.

I am pretty sure if during the KOEO dianostic test, you put the trans in 'D' to start the fans. I'll check on that but I am pretty sure.
