One of the better kits i have found, I use it myself. As for the fans you will need to mod them abit but nothing major.... I use a set of EL's

svo347,
What did you have to mod? El fans fitted my EB no worries, first time.

Get EL as EF fans are harder to wire up due to wiring set up and it keeps the car WAY COOLER

I have an Aftermarket 4 core instead of the genuine 3 core...
Needed to cut abit of plastic off. No real dramas.

BPT wiring harness best way to go - worth every cent.
SSS Auto parts in Perth sell aftermaket EL twin fans for around $190. Loads cheaper than genuine and work great. Only mod is slight trim on shroud with stanley. Richie

where did you put the thermo switch, radiator inlet or outlet . when I put the thermo's on my f150 davis-craig instructions recomended inlet but I'm soon to put thermo's on my nc and am thinking about the radiator outlet so at freway speeds the fans won't kick in when not realy needed.
also thinking about runing a feed of the aircon compressor clutch to make sure theres flow over heat exshange. though I also think the fans won't be off long while stoped in traffic with the aircon on. how have you guy's done it ?

with BPT harness you use 2 sensors & 5 relays - all supplied.
One sensor is tapped into top of outer thermostat housing and the other into the heater tube on the lower manifold. Also with A/C one wire is joined to blue aircon wire before the plug. Instructions are easy to follow. You wont regret installation. Richie.

what's the rough price of the harness. they talk about 2speed fan's which sound like ef's whrere I think el's are single speeds these things don't last forever and the 2speed fans sound dearer.
one relay and one thermo switch will be much easier so how much better are the 2 speed fans.

wat is the reasoning for 5 relays 2 thermal switchs etc,i thought all i needed was the fans and a thermal switch to go into top hose, bpt quoted me $305 this does not include fans,i can buy el fans new and thermal switch kit including relays for $270 delivered from queensland.

Pete chime in ... Would probably need tweecer to enable on ED EEC-IV... ecu supports it but not via factory programming/loom... I think some of the utes with 60 pin EEC had thermo support...??

Reason for the relays & sensors is that will run one fan and cut in the second if necessary. Also cut in if aircon is on.
Suggest you talk to Barry Battens. Richie.

i've done it to my ute, i hooked up 2 relays (one for each fan), switched by a davies craig adjustable switch.
works great with the AU2 twin thermos im using, only problem is they draw quite a bit of current, so i upped my alternator output to 85A (old one was 55).
