Some lowlife piece of garbage tried to get into the back of my pursuit 250 by putting a hell of a lot of upward force on the rear wing. The hard cover was locked and they didn't get in but there is some reasonable damage to the spoiler. I rang a ford dealer and if he looked it up right the spoiler (hard cover sold seperate and actually a lot cheaper) is a mere $2200 unpainted. "Its a genuine FPV thing you see" said the dealer. Surely they made enough on these at $58000 on the road. Do you all think I should get the genuine FPV item or an after market identical $320 that when painted doen't say FPV.

Good news I rang another dealer and he said that he is pretty sure the BA wing is the same and he looked it up and it even has an AU part number. Going to take it down and match it up to be sure.

Price$495 painted. They don't make my colour but one similar to get repainted. Talk about FPV profiteering.

Get your insurance to cover it, and keep it original fpv.

If insurance won't cover it, or you don't want to use insurance and ruin claim bonus or waht ever get a aftermarket, or get something unique/different to stock maybe?

i dont think there is anything to justify 2200 for a wing .

go to ssv in sydney and get them to replace the wing, got one on the old mans BA and only cost $220 (for a xr wing)

Get a stciker made up to suit the logo, then cut along the lines, and get the logo painted on as a stencil. But damn, for that money , id want it to be hand airbrushed with about 50 colours!
