Hi guys, a while ago i did the conversion from crappy E series TB to AU 65mm TB, goes great but i always felt it could do MORE.

Well today, i found out why. I was looking at the throttle body and the throttle cable, when the throttle cable is pushed as far back as possible, it only opens the TB about 3/4 open, which is good i suppose, now to the best part, with my foot flat on the accelerator pedal, as far as it will go, it only opens the TB about 1/4 way, if that.

Whats the go here? How did the guys that did the swap get on with this problem?

Cheers.

Didn't have this problem....I hope! Gonna have to check that! I did put two extra nuts, as spacers, between the manifold and the bracket that holds the cable up to the T/B, to put the ball clip in the right spot.

Yeah that's what i just did, although the secondary cable was making the butterfly stay open slightly so i just d/c that lol, didn't appear to do anything so i took it off. although, it's still not giving me full throttle.
