what is the difference between the upper & lower manilod on the t series compare to the sandard 5ltr , would i get any gain in kw putting one on my 5ltr ghia, as i'll be using the 70mm t/b aswell, i think from memory the tickford ones had more porting in the manifold plus the outlet for the t/b to suit the larger 70mm t/b.

Assuming you mean the intake from the 5.6L engine, there is a substantial difference. This is a short runner, large plenum intake which is not suited to a mild 5.0L engine.
The Explorer intake you have is more suitable. |

If you're referring to the Explorer intake then yes, it would benefit your 5lt as compared to the original HO manifold.

{USERNAME} wrote: the ones of series 2 ts50 Thatd actually be an Explorer. If you have an AU Ghia 5.0lt then you'll gain nothing, but if you have an EB-EL 5.0lt Ghia, then yes as Vic said it will make a nice gain over your current HO manifold.
