The truck lower actually flows VERY well...
In forced induction they use this lower and add a boxed upper... The Holley Systemax use this lower inlet... http://www.holley.com/300-501-1.asp Only issue is they won't turn around like most other manifolds if you want throttle body to face passengers side... You cannot use this anyway as its way too tall to fit under any car bonnet..

would one be able to use the lower section... weld up a box for the upper section and use the throttlebodies?
just an idea...

and if its off a 351 it wont fit 302 heads as the v is at different angle have to reweld and machine it to fit
