I'm looking to purchase a set of underdrive pullies, and just have a question.
What's the deal with the crank pulley, does that just bolt on to the front of the harmonic balancer or does it go in place of the HB. I'm asking this because I also want to replace the HB at the same time because of the stock pullies habit of failing, and I thought it might be a good idea to replace it and the serpentine belt at the same time as fitting the underdrives. Cheers. |

it bolts on with 4 bolts. If the balancer is looking a bit tired(any rubber sticking out) then it's a good time for a new one along with the belt.

The stock ones aren't too bad but they do fail eventually. I think the one on my last car went to 250k before it separated.

What underdrive pulley kit have you bought?
I'm keen as to buy one from somewhere like Summit as they are a fair bit cheaper than the BPT underdrive kit. But not too sure on which one to get? |

Im looking at the BPT one. Not sure whether the Mustang underdrives fit Falcons cause they have different front dress I think.
